We signed Nevaeh up for T-ball and almost wasn't able to do so because she is only 2 years old and the age range is from 3 to 6 years old. We stated our case about her turning 3 in July and they finally had to do an "age over-ride" to allow her to play. She has played the past two Saturdays so far and LOVES IT!!!! Here is a video of the first two days...

Out of loop, Mexico and the ER!!

Nevaeh and I have been so out of the loop lately I don't even know where to start!
My poor Nevaeh had a plethora of illnesses, beginning about a month ago.  It started with a cold which then turned into a cough which then turned into an ear infection!!   After the ear infection Nevaeh's body decided to keep the runny nose preventing us from hanging out with our usual play group!
After my baby got better we went on vacation to MEXICO for about 6 days.  We had so much fun at my parents house.  I had not been to Aguascalientes in 9 years!!  The last time I saw my parents home it was literally 4 brick walls and dirt BOY has it changed.  I didn't know exactly what to expect but I assumed it would look like most of the houses I visited in Mexico... small, dusty and OLD!!  I walked into their home and it was BEAUTIFUL!!  My jaw hit the ground!!  Not only was it HUGE but it was decorated so nicely.  From the red sofas and flat screen TV to the top of the line refrigerator.  My mom does have the best taste... if only I had her decorating style.
My mom and dad were so happy to have us ALL at their home with our families.  It was so nice to have home cooked "mom" meals every night.  Since it was carnival time in Aguas. my sisters, cousin, Jacob and I decided to go out and party like teenagers on a Tuesday night!!  We had a blast.  I can't believe I waited 9 years to party like that!!
p.s. I can't find my camera battery charger so I will post pictures whenever possible!

Anyway... about the ER.
I ended up getting a slight cough in Mexico so while in the airport I decided to buy a pack of Halls to prevent me from coughing up a storm in the crowded airplane.  During our flight I began getting itchy.... it started on my stomach then my legs and finally my eyes began to itch... I assumed it was allergies.  As soon as we got home I took a shower and went to bed.  I woke up with usually swollen eyes, so I decided to take Benedryl.  My itchy eyes and body went away but my cough persisted so I continued to take my Halls.  While at school my hives started coming back on my legs and eyes so I left early.  I took Benedryl one last time right before bed (along with yet another Halls or two).  I woke up at 5:30 a.m. scratching the skin right off my legs!!  I got up and went straight to the bathroom only to find MY FACE COMPLETELY SWOLLEN and my body COVERED IN HIVES!!  I quickly get dressed wake Jacob up and head straight to the ER.  I got two shots in the tush and headed back home and straight to bed!
The only thing I am allergic to is Aspirin but there shouldn't be Aspirin in Halls right?!?!  I have taken them before... but I have never taken MEXICAN HALLS... so beware... take all your own medication on any trip!!
