Olivia and Steve's Wedding

Here is a picture of the beautiful bride and groom at their Winter wedding!!  By looking at the happy couple you would never guess how tired and stressed out they were!!

Love you guys thanks for sharing the picture!!

Elissa hits double digits!!

Saturday night we decidedd to head out
to Lancaster for my oldest goddaughter/niece, Elissa's  birthday (she turned 10).  We spent the night and celebrated on Sunday.  Nevaeh could not wait to get there, she kept saying "daddy, drive faster", she is so silly!!  Once we were there Nevaeh ran, played, danced and laughed her little heart out with her cousins.
I was a little bummed about driving for 3 hours but once I got there I could not have been happier.  I missed my sister, Alex and all of my nieces and nephews.
Here are a few pics:
1)Elissa and Jasmine playing twister (please notice Nevaeh in the mix trying to play)
2)The best I could do... I tried to get all the grandkids looking at me for a picture BUT Elissa had to turn to look at Jake!!
3)Me and my sister, Alex!!! (I've missed you so much)
4)my youngest goddaughter ... Nikki!

Nevaeh and Edie

On the 13th we went to visit Nevaeh's oldest friend Edie... they have been friends before they were even born.  We met Marty and Amy, Edie's daddy and mommy, at Lamaze class when we were about 7 months pregnant and we have been friends ever since.  The girls always have fun together and play very well together too.
We had not seen them in a while so we decided to take a trip to San Elijo and visit our great friends.

Happy Valentine's Day

Well, I honestly think I have the best husband ever... he is so sweet, caring, thoughtful, and the best part is he is an even better father!!
Since I have school Thursday nights, we celebrated Valentine's day on the 13th by going  to Claim Jumper (where we went for our first date) and had dinner with our little Valentine.  I received two gifts: a gift card to Adora's Hair Salon (from Jacob) and the Deceptively Delicious cookbook (from Nevaeh).... I was ecstatic!!
Nevaeh gave daddy a gift certificate for a car wash... which he loved and desperately needed.
On the 14th, Jacob came home with flowers for both Nevaeh and myself!!  The card he gave me made me cry... so sweet!!
(he even sent his mom a card!!)
MAN... I honestly don't care if this is a "commercialized" holiday... it feels nice to get spoiled!!

What a graceful dancer!!

So we finally decided to put Nevaeh in a dance class and SHE LOVED IT.  She is attending "Ariel's Dance Academy" and there are roughly 6 other girls in her class.
Right after class we headed to Target and purchased the necessary outfit for ballet... she looks so cute!!  Jacob and I were in shocked as we watched her dance all around the house, she looked like such a big kid... it almost made us want to cry.  Nevaeh also
asked daddy to dance with her, he gladly agreed.

Our Guests

Jacob's cousin, Lofi, and his beautiful family came over Wednesday night from Miami Florida for a visit.  We were very happy to see them... especially Jacob!!  We had a lot of fun and can't wait to see them again really soon!
Nevaeh could not have been happier with the baby... she helped as often as we let her, she was so super sweet!!
