Here we are at 38 weeks, only two weeks to go before our new mystery baby arrives!! I am pretty large at this point but the baby still finds room to move around very often making me quite uncomfortable at times.
scribbly hair
Nevaeh has been asking for scribbly (curly) hair like mommy's for a few days. She finally decided to sit still long enough for me to braid it... she even slept with them in all night. The result was fantastic. She was so happy with her hair, she couldn't wait to show it off!
UNCLE LOFI!
Uncle Lofi flew in from Florida for the one and only Oceanside High School Football Reunion and we were lucky enough to have him stay with us for a few days. Uncle Lofi is daddy's bestest friend in the whole world, so not only was Jacob over the moon that he was coming but Nevaeh picked up on his excitement and could wait for his arrival.
Once here, Nevaeh followed Uncle Lofi every where.. and wanted to do everything he did. When I asked her to sit down for breakfast she made sure Uncle Lofi was going to eat too!
Now she still says, "ch-yeah" and "what's up, mom" thanks to him!
Thanks for spending a few days with us! We miss you already and can't wait to hang out the the entire Nua family next time!
36 Weeks... almost
Here I am 2 days shy of 36 weeks! Time has really flown by! I am now officially on maternity leave and won't be back at work until September 12! I am ready to enjoy being a mom to one for the next four weeks... I plan on giving her all the attention I can before her life gets turned upside down with a sibling!

This was our last mini vacation as a family of 3 and boy was it fun. I was very tired and swollen most of the time but I did my best to just sit and wait while daddy and Vaeh did their thing! It is amazing what we do as parents... the long lines, the heat, swollen feet, dealing with inpatient people, overpriced food... just to see your little girl smile!
Can't wait until our first mini vacation as a family of four! Just 4 more weeks until we meet this little one!

34 Weeks
It is simply amazing... But I am now at 34 weeks!!! Feels like only a couple of days went by between 12 weeks to 34 weeks. We CAN NOT wait to become a family of 4. We are extremely excited and ready to welcome this new addition into our already fabulous family. This little one has been moving so much that I am sure he/she can't wait to meet us either. ***Side Note***
I know I look pretty beat up in this picture ... I could use some makeup but please focus on the belly instead of the dark circles!

My sister Monica had her little bundle of joy yesterday May 31st at 11:50 p.m.
They haven't settled on a name but both mommy and baby are doing well!
